Good to know:

Leave the chicken out of the recipe and add more vegetables (e.g. broccoli, peas and carrots) to make this recipe vegetarian.

Left overs:

Snack on the next day or midnight-snack for leaders.

Other interesting fact:

First attested in English in 1874, the word pasta comes from Italian pasta, in turn from Latin pasta "dough, pastry cake", itself the latinisation of the Greek παστά (pasta) "barley porridge", in turn from παστός (pastos), "sprinkled with salt, salted". (

Step 1
In a big deep cooking pot and a smaller pot bring water with a bit of salt to a boil.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into small pieces and heat up oil in a saucepan - fry until well done (10-12 minutes)
Step 3
Once the water has started to boil add the pasta to the big pot and the cauliflower to the small pot - cook until tender. Once they are finished put them in a drainer and leave on the side.
Step 4
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring until tender - 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Add milk, flour, salt, pepper in a separate bowl together (whisk) and add it to the pan with the onions.
Step 6
Bring it to a boil over medium-high-heat, stir frequently. Cook, stir, until thickened for about 1 minute.
Step 7
Reduce heat to low and stir in cheese until smooth.
Step 8
Stir chicken and mustard into the cheese sauce, cook until heated through - for about 2 minutes.
Step 9
Stir the sauce into the strained pasta and cauliflower - mix it in a pig pot.
Step 10
Serve sprinkled with chives.
