Breakfast Buffet

The easiest option for breakfast on any camp, for all age groups, any group-size, is a buffet-styled breakfast with various ingredients. If you want to make sure that there is a variety each day you can go for different spreads or cold-cuts every morning.

Here is a selection on what you could offer for breakfast.


  • 1,5kg Bread
  • 1 cube Butter
  • 1 glass Jam (Strawberry / Raspberry...)
  • 300g Cheese
  • 150g Ham (or other cold cuts (Salami...))
  • 250g Cornflakes / Cereals
  • 5 pieces Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Cucumber
  • 5 pieces Carrots
  • Spreads (e.g. Leverpostei)
  • 1 glass Honey
  • 10 pieces Eggs (e.g. scrambled)
  • Fruit (e.g. apple, pear, grapes)
  • 500g Yoghurt
  • Hot Oat Meal
  • Porridge
  • 1l Milk
  • 2l Orange Juice
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Hot Chocolate


  • Soy-Milk (for lactose-intolerant)
  • Gluten-free Bread (gluten-allergies)
  • Gluten-free Spread (gluten-allergies)



  • Cutting Board
  • Knives
  • Spoons
  • Bowls

Alterations for dietary restrictions

Lactose intolerant: Use lactose free, soy or no milk.

Gluten: Have some gluten-free bread, ham...

Good to know! Variation is nice during camps, make sure to vary with the breakfast-options every few days (e.g. have scrambled eggs every other day)

Left over’s: Leftovers can be used for the next days breakfast or a small snack in the afternoon.
